Anyone that owns the Sega Master System version of Wonder Boy in Monster Land and a Sega Genesis controller, try this.

There's a weird glitch where, if you plug in a Sega Genesis controller in the system and press pause, your character will jump through the wall below him and fall through the top of the screen in an infinite loop. Once you plug in a Master System controller again, he will control back to normal. It's a fun way to bypass a few obstacles.

You can actually skip the first door using this trick so that you don't have the sword, but you can't beat the first mini-boss without it lol.

I wonder if this would be allowed or viable in speed running the game...
I like my RPGs based on how they are played, not where they are made.

IIRC, you have to use the original Master System controller. I know with the NES, you can't use third-party controllers or the Turbo/Advantage controllers.
