Everyone at level 99 (or maybe 98 due to the bug?) is a given, as is having all android skills mastered (Phononmasr for Demi, Hijammer/Burstroc/Posibolt for Wren). Not sure whether this should apply to Alys and Seth.
Every chest in the game opened. All sidequests completed.
I also would think it would have to include anything missable (meaning it can no longer be purchased by the time when you are about to confront the final boss. This would be the hard part due to inventory limits.
For the purposes of this list, there are three separate categories.
-Category 1 is something that is only accessible in a chest in an area that cannot be revisited after a certain point in the game) -Category 2 is something that is equipped to a character at the time when they join or rejoin your party, making it actually the opposite of missable, but if the item is sold or otherwise discarded, you can never get another one -Category 3 is something that can only be found in a chest, but the area can be visited at any time up until endgame. However, if this item is sold or otherwise discarded, you can never get another one. -Category 3.5 has one single item: the Psycho Wand. It cannot be replaced. However, it cannot be sold or discarded. You can get rid of it, however, by giving it to Raja before triggering the events which lead to him leaving your party.
A hypothetical Category 4 would include Elsydeon and the five rings, as these items are all one of a kind, but there's no way to get rid of them.
These are all listed in alphabetical order. I've almost certainly made a few mistakes, so please feel free to correct me if you notice one. And, without further ado:

I don't see a compelling reason to hold onto equipment which is completely obsolete such as the Laser Sword and the various outdated android armours. I would, of course, hold onto limited equips that do have unique effects, such as the Plasma Field (though you seem to be doing that). I think a perfect inventory should include some mix of the high-end healing items instead (Repair Kits, Sol Dews, Star Dews), to better combat hypothetical powerful enemies (not that anything is going to challenge you at Level 98-99, but it's the thought that counts!).

This game, along with the Dragon Warriors and FFLegend III have some of the worst limits as far as items and equipment are concerned. Nothing makes sense about having it so limited. Breath of Fire is the same way, but at least there is more space in storage. But yeah, I'd hold onto any game best equipment and only lesser equipment that has special properties or stat gains, etc.
