The intent of this topic isn't to show you how much these other games are like CT or CC rather more along the lines of: just how creative and visually similar in some ways they are to CT/CC from having members from the same dev team. A lot of these games have the heart and soul of the CT/CC dev team.

And you can see bits and pieces of just how good these people were creatively in the other games listed. For example: take the Baten Kaitos series for instance. If you knew nothing about the series and I told you it was a sequel to Chrono Cross you might believe me because both games had the same art director..Yasuyuki Honne who did the pre-rendered background painting and design.

Without the programmers concept designers and graphic designers you wouldn't have the look and feel of the game. And that's a big part of the games identity. The art direction and graphic design are major factors in a games soul. From the pre-redered backgrounds...the magic effects/design found in the battle system...right down to the detailed and colorful texture work on the environments/3D objects. Sure Kato..Mitsuda..and Toriyama were major factors but they weren't the main body that actually designed programed and brought these games to life.

Rpg's from the early 90's and early 2000's I guess had a certain level of creativity...charm...and most importantly: heart. And many of the games listed above meet that criteria and that's mostly thanks to these talented developers!
