I'm just confused because Primalliquid from 18:17 to 18:53 says:

And all it took was 174 hours and 13 minutes, although like I said at the very start, I had to do this grind twice because I'm an idiot and I didn't make multiple saves. So for me to get the clips I needed again, I had to do it all over from scratch. So, I guess realistically, it took me closer to 350-400 hours in total. Why do these overpowered videos seem to be taking much much longer the more we do them? I'm kind of worried about the next one to be honest.

Doesn't it defeat the entire purpose of a disc one nuke if you're still involved in long, tedious grinding at the beginning of the game? 174 hours well exceeds the length of time required to beat the game and become overpowered normally. I don't understand the point of doing it his way, which doesn't explain the apparent popularity of his video. The game is over 13 years old, the video is only two days old, and already it has over 24,000 views, a 99:1 like:dislike ratio, and overwhelmingly positive comments. What is the appeal of powerleveling this way and steamrolling the rest of the game?

Who says it's a "disc one nuke"? I mean, we all know it's not.

The appeal of the channel seems to be the act of grinding, itself. And he certainly delivers in that video holy cow

His team isnt even optimal, Goon is a much better choice for early party member to compliment the other two.

He didnt explain why he chose red elemental or why he prefers it to other elements (he doesnt know why lol), just that 'its a popular choice' aka he just followed what he saw on most gamefaqs posts and doesnt know what makes a char good

His channel videos are entertaining if you take them for what they are. Fun/unrealistic power levelling and not necessarily the most efficient strats, hence the excess hours. He actually thinks Tonberry the Ripper is impossible and only defeated 'by grinding'. You dont need to be anywhere near 60-70s to beat it, and even at those levels he has no solution for the Youth League Cup besides farming bangles to get your stats high enough to where nothing is threatening anymore

He doesnt claim to be the best at any of the FFs he plays, but hes certainly among the most dedicated and I can respect that

Lol yeah.
"You have to grind to beat Mega Tonberry"
"YRP are terrible"
"Nerfed Cat Nip is terrible"
Thanks for bringing this content to my attention @slk_23 . Every once in a while I'll stroll through the latest X-2 videos on youtube but usually it's hours-long videos of streams that are a pain to skip around on trying to find the good parts.
