Feel free to add yours.

1) A Reality TV star vs. a Talk Show Host could be the the presidential ticket in 2020. Oprah and Trump have both built their Empires on bulls*** and snake oil sales, and yet we are energized by this possibility? So long as Tom Hanks is VP and Will Smith is Secratary of State, let it ride. We earned it.

2) People are saying finally that there is proof of gender wage gaps in Hollywood citing Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams in this story:

http://money.cnn.com/2018/01/10/media/mark-wahlberg-michelle-williams-pay-gap/index.html

They fail to mention that Michelle Williams announced when the accusations against Kevin Spacey broke, she claimed she wpuld do any reshoots for free to have spacey removed, which she did.

Mark Wahlberg said nuts to that, and negotiated pay for time on set. They are comparing a person who volunteered her time getting a per diem to Wahlberg accepting payment per his negotiated contract as proof of wage gap, and the story is getting traction. SMH.

3) Also above is why I don't get the love for Jessica Chastain. She is at the front of this and quoting such misleading info and tying back the need to get equality in pay for millionaires pretending to be other people for a living. Equal pay for equal work is justice I agree, but when it comes to contractually negotiated compensation I don't think this should ever be likened to what "real people" deal with as if it was a similar struggle.

4) "This is Us" is porn for those with melancholy spirits, and manipulates its audience with unbelievable stories of coinciding sadness presented as random events but tied back to an intersecting, time line dependant, unbelievable consecutive tragedies. It is soccer mom opiates, and Chrissy Metz isn't courageous, she is ill and needs an intervention.

5) Wonder Woman has put me to sleep three times now, with such great characters with names like "Dr. Poison" and medusa like dialogue (Gal Gadot is great in the action sequences, but hearing her say "where I come from we call that slavery" or "Our 12 volumes determine men are only suitable for procreation, and not pleasure. Goodnight" turns her to stone). I am up to the part where Ewen Bremmer is showing his PTSD and can't kill anymore. Much of this film is rather hokey, I don't get the love.

6) The only films that have put me to sleep more often before I finally finished them are "Suicide Squad" (5 times) and "X-Men: Apocalypse" (6 times and never bothered to try to finish it).

7) I regret the purchase of the Watchmen Ultimate edition. Movie is now 3 and a half hours long, can't do it, the comic interludes are terrible.

8) "Logan" is likely the best film I saw last year not named "Rogue One".

9) I-294 has always had billboards up and down it. Recently they have had several campaigns posted with Hair Restoration with local athletes, or for the restaurant campus by the convention centers in Rosemont, for example. Lately they have added a seriers of faith based adds that are designed to attract those seeking inner peace and deeper understanding. The slogans of course give way to a text "Salaam" to a number for a free copy of the Quran.

Right next to Brian Urlacher and Ryne Sandberg duking it out over whose genetically engineered mop of ass hair looks better on their heads is a bullet point that reads "Strength. Honor. Respect. Hijab" followed by a billboard for Bars, Taverns and the Sugar Factory. Strange juxtaposition.

I was going to take a photo of it, but figured i would get into an accident.

10) Posting on the internet is mental junkfood for me. It at times kills my drive to do anything else and recently has distracted me from too much if life. I am dialing back, ignoring topics and users like crazy, but it has to be that way. It is unfortunate, but neccessary.

11) Taco Bell is simply no longer worth consuming. My standard order was 2 meximlts and a nacho bell Grande. With a drink that "feast" cost me over 14 dollars. I am here to say f*** that noise. I am done with that place for the forseeable future. I can get a Chipotle for 8 dollars.

agreed on Taco Bell, f*** that place nowadays.

i feel you on superhero films as well, the market is over saturated so they're pumping out lackluster releases when they should be taking their time and making good movies.

I was big into Taco Bell during my dirty bulking days because it was cheap, but I haven't been there in years. A shame if it has gone so downhill though.

12) Taco Bell caveat:

If whoever runs YUM! foods finds this post and manages to collectively pull their heads far enough out of their asses to wake up and put CHORIZO on their breakfast menu, i would give it a try.

Their idea of breakfast marks the first and only time i have ever not finished a drive through breakfast meal. The waffle taco was soaked in fryer oil while the crunch wrap was soggy fried potato covered in ground up bacon, why grind it? why i say? I took one bit of the taco and spit it out, then three bites of the wrap and said "that is enough".

13) I try my best to never waste food. i have finished meals i hate, if things are wrong with the order i just roll with it. But that breakfast was terrible. Listen, it isn't hard, warm tortilla, fresh scramled eggs, chicken chorizo, cheese with fresh tomato salsa. 2 for 3 dollars, boom!

Hit me up @TacoBell. You have access to an unlimited supply of darkmeat chicken from your KFC supply chain, chicken sausage yo, chorizo seasoned. BOOM!

It is obvious.

14) Taco Bell literally ran in opposition to the "quality over quantity" argument, and would supply "quantity" as a value that outweighed "quality" at any tier. I can get a nacho plate with skirt steak at the local bar for 11 dollars, and the portion is massive, and I can identify the ingredients.

15) To aid in the removal of head from ass, I recommend ordering two chilitos, a mountain dew chiller, and whatever that burrito concoction with nacho cheese sauce, enchilada sauce, tater tots, sourcream and ground beef is called. If that doesn't clear it out, nothing will.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpEuHHMy-Z8

i don't think i've ever seen someone accused talk about it that directly on national television so soon after. might be the most awkward interview segment ever.

16) I was going to discuss Micheal Douglas denying a story before it broke. He finds himself in a similar situation where he has been accused of something he does not agree with the description of their interactions. He chose to out the accusations before it became public, we will see much more of this approach.

17-A) As to the Franco interview, it is really IMO the best way you can handle this. I really have a hard time when the world wants to say to people "you can't show support for X because of Y" without proof of "Y", or at least a full throated explanation of your POV regarding support for "X". Franco explained exactly why he supports "X". It has only gotten worse with social media, and the carpet bombing approach of all these accusations is at somepoint, if it hasn't already, going to burn down people who really didn't do anything wrong.

17-B) It is telling that Ally Sheedy deleted everything she tweeted, it was also telling that Franco looked like he was legit confused as to why she would come after him.

The other stories on Twitter, if you ask me reading his face there is something there. I don't want to say that I think he is a sex predator, but I would believe he is a dude who gets a lot of strange and is used to it. We aren't talking about rape, but we are talking about accusations he pulled his dick out and was expecting someone to suck on it. There was no accusation i saw that he forced anyone to anything, but made it clear that is what was expected.

He has said he doesn't feel he wronged anyone, but he is a good actor and could be hiding his true thoughts or feelings.

18) My personal belief is he picks up a lot of girls with expectations of sex and never calls them back. He also seems like he parties a bit, and I could easily see he may have made people uncomfortable getting to the point of why they are there.

19) When my daughters grow up, this situation will always be something I discuss with them, as well as my son. For the girls, do not expect a man you just met to be interested in "the real you" at the conclusion of a night out at a bar by going somewhere with them. Tell them if they want that you will meet them for coffee the next day. My son will be coached up to hear "no means no" from puberty on, to respect women and basically go home every night at 11 by yourself if you aren't in a relationship. (There is more to this, but I will likeky share why later). We will share the story how I knew his mother for more than a year before we dated, and things progressed on her timeline, not mine.

20) I found the story of the actresses, writers and directors in France basically s***ting on the #MeToo movement fascinating. I also find it shameful that women who chose not to wear black are being dragged over expressing themselves. If the women of Hollywood wanted to stand for something and show true protest, had I been asked I would have said "Don't go, and in the event you win have the award accepted on your behalf and announce you are donating it to some cause because of your protest". Empty seats are a powerful visual. Vacated stage time is a powerful message. Instead they played along in what I see is a token gesture.

21) Lena Dunham should be getting more s*** than Franco.

22) James Franco getting dropped from events already. I really hate this type of reaction to unsubstantiated, uninvestigated claims made through social media.

23) YouTube/Google has slapped the wrist of its primary cash cow douchebag, Logan Paul. I hate typing his name, not going to relive any of the reasons why but it still is not enough.

24) Logan Paul's father is the white man version of Lavar Ball. They each are about the worst examples of parenting I have ever seen on record. Not to sound too preachy, but raising a kid is harder when they get exposed to this type of ass hattery. I don't want to block them from everything, but undoing what they see on the internet is difficult.

25) YouTube content "creators" like these douchebag Vloggers, or some of the more popular Let's Players are going to start seeing a reckoning over the "influence" and "reach" of their content. Each click could be a young child with a developing mind, yes i have the apps all restricted to only things that are PG, but it doesn't work 100%. YouTube has started to admit that. Deketing the app may be next for me.

26) On the sameday Warren Buffet announces he sees a bad end in sight for Crypto currencies South Korea announces plans to make it illegal to trade it in their country. I asked the question before how long do you think the governments of the world were going to tolerate the tax evading, black market trading, sanction dodging, hacker targeted crypto commodity? The answer seems to be not much longer.

27) Bravo to Seal for being one to stand up and say "Bulls***" on Oprah's claim she knew nothing about Harvey Weinstein.

28) Franco getting dragged harder, he is handling it well. Inviting people to tell their stories and listening while saying "I don't see it that way". Favorite one is the actress who thought he invited her because of talent/hard work for a film short about a strip joint, even as her contract said she was there to provide nudity to the scene.

29) Gov of Missouri is f***ed over a consentual affair it would seem. Not a fan of that, if he denied it and was proven a liar different story. He is admitting before it went public.
