Seriously i need to talk about this classicLFG bs. Since when does game devs wants to force us to play a game exactly like they are meaning to? All these fanboy crying and saying no this is not the way to play classic...Hell everybody is using questie and nobody talks about it. I am a gamer since long and when i'm replaying a game i dont f***in try to do it like i was 6 years old. This is all s***ty nonsense, whats the difference of lfg addon if its not only a couple minute saved by not walking to town. We are not the same gamers that we were 15 years ago and if its not classiclfg it will be something else anyway.

Why would you walk to town? /join LookingForGroup /join World.

I've never heard of this addon. And questie like addons were popular in vanilla. I never used them so I know where all the quests are at this point with a few exceptions.

I learned both of these simply by not using the kind of addons you're advocating. I don't care if others use them except that LFG one...

The reason being is that we already have the channel and communication is something the addon would eliminate. The addon would become required if it's popular enough.

Would it be fair to suggest then that would be the "will of the players" if players as a whole would rather seek the convenience of such addon instead of manually communicating and looking for groups? Still, I can imagine this being a snowball effect leading one way or the other depending on effectiveness of finding said groups via channels vs via the addon.

The will of the players resulted in BFA and retail features. Even I originally thought some of them were a good idea. But, as a whole I think they took something away from the game.

I blame the players more than Blizzard or Activision.

lol, its definitely not zone specific. That much is obvious from just paying attention to the channel for a few seconds

My bad i was checking bad info on blizzardwatch.com, they are saying that its specific.

So then if lfg is not zone specific, how come its more logical to create a group via LFG channel than on an Lfg addon where u have to whisper the leader anyway. It just dont make sense its the exact same process exept the addon is visually better.

I haven't used the addon to tell you if it's better. The point is that "visually better" isn't enough to get me to use an addon.

The LFG and World channels are more than enough.
