Attack Bar works. This is 100% necessary for warriors so you can hamstring kite and not be near death every fight.

I'm not sure about others. I tend to be light with my addons, but I played during vanilla so I pretty much know where all the quests and things are already after reading a bit of the quest text.

Addons are a crutch. If you're considering using them then Classic isn't the game for you.

I remember people saying that in vanilla. LOL People were stupid.

Yes and that's why they used Addons. Classic isn't the game for you.

Only addon I'm going to get is probably a data tracker (like Gatherer), and an addon that lets me customize the size and position of my action bars (makes it easier for me to remember where hotkeys are)

The issue is that the APIs have changed so much since 2006 that a lot of those vanilla addons will not work for Classic WoW as it is based on the current live build of the game. Most addons will need to be updated for various reasons, ironically. I know there is a thread on the WoW forums with a few addons that have been updated, but right now only DBM works 100%. There are also updates for WeakAuras (but that's missing its lib files and does not load) and Quester (which seems not fully functional).

I never needed/used add-ons in classic. It wasn't nearly complex enough back then to need them.

With all of the features that won't be available with it, though, I'm sure everyone will be screaming for them this time around. If you don't have something to help manage mailing the contents of your six slot bags, some click-spell add on for lazy healers, something to help tanks (warriors especially) because they can't be bothered to push a button stance dancing, you'll go nuts in a matter of days.
No way am I going to IGN. I just copied this from reddit. - scarecrows
