lostsaint8911 posted...I remember actually playing BFA on launch for longer than I played Legion on launch, because most of the things people complain about aren't actually that bad.
It's almost like the WoW fan base are a bunch of melodramatic idiots constantly claiming the newest thing is "the worst thing ever" or "the biggest mistake ever made" and always "the death of the game."
I'd normally agree with you that the bulk of the vocal player base are whiners, but there are pretty big issues that are clearly a problem for many players. My best friend is an avid WoW fanboy. Any complaint he will acknowledge and then explain away as being fine. He has not cancelled his sub, as far as I know since he first started playing and almost never has a negative thing to say about the game.
He canceled his sub because he dislikes BfA so much. I was genuinely surprised when he told me.
He says that the story line is just nonsense, the loss of Artifacts and the power level they brought was too harsh a blow when going to the Heart of Azerite items, and the scaling just removed the sense of progression until the very end. You feel weaker at 120 compared to 110, and you don't feel powerful while leveling.
None of those complaints seem melodramatic at all.
I've only played for free for the last year so I can't comment on the above, but his complaints seem pretty solid and seem to be mirrored across many players and ex-players. Often, the community is full of crybabies who would ruin the game if they got their way, but it seems that in THIS case the vocal majority are all of the same opinion, BfA is a misstep for BlizzActivi$ion.
I have a great signature, the best. It's such a great signature. Nobody has a better signature than I do. I have the best signature, ask anyone
