Yeah, I haven't tried everything but of the ones I've done, shadow priest was brutal to level, by far the worst.

Both disc and outlaw are fun and do well. Just go snd for outlaw.

For the worst class pick enhancement shaman, they are so weak that you need to blow cool downs to kill more than 2 mobs and even then may not survive the encounter.

Disc is really bad in terms of lower level dungeon content. At lower levels your only direct healing has a cooldown and is tied to a DPS skill that is easily wasted on monsters. You will eventually get another direct heal but here's the shocker: half of your heal will actually damage your party members while they are in combat... While that might seem to be an interesting flavor in end game class identity, it is a horrible mechanic for new players leveling through dungeon content. You also need to keep applying this buff called Atonement to your party members, and it only lasts around 12 seconds or so on individual targets, after applying this buff you then need to switch target to DPS some monsters in order to heal your party members. Your entire rotation is so clunky and you are so busy juggling between targets while healing for half as much as Holy Priest. If you just spam your direct heals on your party member without DPSing, your heals will be abysmal.

It is truly one of the worst gameplay experience ever and Blizzard refuses to provide Disc Priests with a method of efficient direct healing.

But in terms of soloing, Disc Priest is one of the best solo leveling classes, since you just automatically heal yourself through Atonement while soloing monsters.

There simply isn't an alienated class or even spec in this game right now.

they have no AoE and have worse single target and AoE damage than holy priest, also worse survivability. most (all?) classes have a spec that will handle large groups faster than disc (not holy though)

but if you're just pulling 1-3 enemies at a time though then yeah disc kinda can't fail

that 2nd heal you're talking about - the damage on it - is null on anyone taking damage, especially tanks, and it gets overridden by atonement healing that would otherwise overheal

and it also has a much higher base heal than every other healer's spot heal.

if you're properly atoning then there's nothing wrong with disc priest

@WoodenRook @Last_Soldier @Garquill @Little_Zardar @MrNintendo1213 all of you are wrong, though some more than others.

I hate to have to give up the secrets to disc, but to make a point:

- Use power word radiance to apply atoment to your whole group before using your artifact or a boss mechanic.

- Use plea to apply atonement at all times to people in your party that have a possibility of getting hit

-Use shadowmend to apply atonement to character that needs an immediate heal.

- All healing is done through dps, if you play the class like a spot healer you will deserve to fail.

That is all I will give up. It is the most interesting healer in the game. Your dps is relatively high. Holy has no ability to do damage, they have one aoe and one holy-shock-like instant crit but it is on a long cooldown. Smite only exists to reduce cooldowns on heals.

Only way holy ever has higher dps numbers is when you refuse to heal and just spam holy nova in m+ for the novelty of getting on the meters, at which point your group probably dies and you get kicked.

The reason people think disc has no healing is because we don't appear on recount. All our healing is technically seen as damage and it is a thousand small heals vs one big heal. We do sustained, practical healing that keeps everyone always topped off instead of letting people half-die so we get the glory of a big crit that shows up on the meters.

As for outlaw, it is probably the best dps in m+ besides arcane, and is absolutely necessary for capping in bgs/rbgs. The rotation is so simple I won't even bother explaining it as it would just give everything up. It is all of three buttons, and with two extras in a burn phase. One must have their secrets.

Both disc and outlaw are made for 5-man content and instances pvp. All the tryhards focus on raids and arenas, so they forget other areas of the game exist as well.

I am tagging @PhazonReborn so he doesn't actually roll a good class by picking disc or outlaw.

As for an actually bad class.

This applies even at 900+ ilvl. They are the only class where heals are a required part of the dps rotation, even in raids. Actually, especially in raids as common boss aoe utterly shreds them. They also do very little damage to make up for them having even less survivability than fire mages.

Level as a healer without doing any group content.

They're hard to kill, but have low DPS and boring rotations. So there's no excitement or thrill in any fights.

holy paladin isn't too bad. can't say for the others though
