I think it'd be rather hard to justify large landmasses on the other side of the globe.

Pandaria managed the mist horses*** only because it had some inkling of prior existence, but to think with the tech the races have now, that they would have no mapping done on the other side of the world.... might be a little jump the shark territory.

Not to mention that given kalimdor was the only landmass originally and there's no bits currently missing, it's probably safe to say nothing but water is over on the other side.

Also worth mentioning that kul tiras and zandalar have always been there, they've just been off limits and therefore off the map.

But on the other hand, a massive tectonic shift like the one that sundered Kalimdor would've certainly pushed the plates on the other side of the planet together to the point where something would've been pushed up out of the ocean.

And in ten thousand years, no one sailed or flew there?

Nah. That's absurd

There is actually lore somewhere that states any ship that sails around that way never returns so there is something awesome or deadly over there
NOT REMOVING UNTIL MGS staring the boss is released
MG Meryl would be cool too as long as there is NO akiba. Offical Harley Quinn of injustice 2

People on Azeroth just don't seem to like to explore.
No one knew Northrend existed until Mal'ganis baited Arthas into going there, and Humans are literally from there.
Kalimdor was a myth until Medivh sent Thrall and Jaina over there, and the elves of Quel'thalas literally knew people that lived there.

Air travel isn't really a thing until the second war. And considering the violent nature of a hypothetical new continent's birth, it's likely to be a rocky death trap for sailing ships.

Yes, they did. Muradin had an entire expedition there before Arthas ever showed up.

You're bringing up things from way too far back in the lore. That's pre globe, pre inception.

We are way past that now, been shown the planet on multiple occasions in multiple ways, if there's more than ocean, they'd have shown it. If they wanted another landmass it would be out there, yet there's nothing.

And there's no reason why if they did want something on the other side, they would avoid painting on some non descript landmass to indicate something is out there.

The renewed interest and hype that would create would be astronomical.

It's a losing scenario from a business standpoint to create a situation where they just nonsensically drop it in with everything pointing towards non existence. No buildup, no interest, no logic. They would certainly piss people off if they did that.

There's plenty of explorers, and plenty of easy ways they could circumnavigate without traveling by ocean, which considering the probability of sea monsters, and the fact that given how the old gods are burrowed in, the ocean on the other side of the world is essentially their toilet, it's probably better not to travel by sea.

But any airship could easily cruise around in short order, thats undeniable. That's likely the case, they did the trip and it was just water all the way round.

Let's be honest.

Lore or not.

Blizzard will plop down a landmass whenever needed.

Or a planet...

Or a zone...

etc.

It's called keeping content fresh and making money.

I keep saying it, wishing for it....

FLOATING CONTINENTS...! High above the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, coasting among the clouds, never in the same spot either, use you flying mounts to each the zone, if you fall off a cliff, where you body lands, that's where you'll spirit rez.....I could go on.

One of the things that makes it worth coming back to is plausibility. There's foundation for what's there.

Ever since the base lore was settled on after frozen throne, there's been very little ass pull.

Dropping an entire continent on the other side of a planet that by now must be fully explored would be incredibly insulting. There's zero evidence to support that kind of an addition.
