Thing is, i just got kicked out of a dungeon because the tank would complain that i took agro for monsters before him (i was litterally just trying to group up mobs we had to kill anyway since we where clearing without any issue).

It sounds like you're DPSing in Tank spec. People really hate that.

Yeah but isn't that kinda rude and useless? Teamplay is important in this you can'y just start saying "screw you" to everyone that does or says something you don't 100% agree with...

YOU aren't playing as part of a team. That is the problem. That is why people are going to kick you.

If the team sucks, just do the dungeon yourself. WoW's been out 13 years, if a tank is too slow, and you can tank it, do it. Why do bad players coddle other bad players?

Because someone might actually take your contradictory advice seriously.

Yeah, it's not your job to gather up mobs if you're not the tank. Your healer can also get irritated.

So you guys would rather a DPS that sits back and contributes nothing than one that solos the dungeon - that's cool. Enjoy your 30 minute LBRS for literally the 100th time.

Seriously, outside of mythics, dungeons are mostly a joke. You're not going to wait for a tank to tank quest mobs, are you? Roles in WoW are much more flexible than the LFD tool suggests. Literally every class can pull mobs, given the right gear and situation.

What the f*** are you talking about? That's not what is being talked about here. There's a middle ground that needs to be found.

What the f*** are you talking about? That's not what is being talked about here. There's a middle ground that needs to be found.

So in dungeons, especially early dungeons, your speed is limited by how fast you're pulling. Generally, it does matter if your DPS is doing 1000 DPS or 500 DPS, because that might be the difference between a 2 second kill and a 4 second kill. On the other hand, a tank that takes 1 second to pull will be much fast than a tank that takes 10 seconds, let alone one that waits up to 30 seconds for his CD's to refresh.
If you're waiting on the tank to pull, you're sitting around doing nothing because he's sitting around doing almost nothing. Whether the DPS does literally anything or not, it ultimately makes a very small difference, especially when there's two others. On the other hand, the DPS can be running around pulling and essentially soloing the dungeon. In a few dungeons, you can actually split and have one guy solo one path while the tank takes the main path. But, you would rather have the polite DPS that has no real contribution, whether he's trying or not, than one that actually works towards clearing the dungeon - because "it's the tank's job to tank" for no real reason other than the LFD tool's description.

you've spent more time in this topic than you could have saved with faster pulling

That somehow clarifies it? You're still talking bulls***. It's a random dungeon, not a premade. DPS runs at the pace of the tank and healer. If he doesn't like the pace of the dungeon he can queue as a tank himself. Your elitist attitude is why there are so few tanks.
