I assume 3b5c3 should be 335c3?

Also, what offset are the following two? Can't seem to find them in FF Restored.
bb68: ea NOP
...
bb73: ea NOP

Lastly,
I assume 3b759 should be 33759?

Otherwise I've managed to find everything.

Yes, sorry - both of the offsets starting with "3b" should be "33".

Also, the ellipses are meant to be bb68-bb73 inclusive, all replaced with "ea", which is essentially an unused free byte. FF Restored probably has something else there, since I expanded upon the functionality of the INT patch for that. You could always just copy what FF Restored has if you want its functionality, or check the bug fix thread (second set of 50 posts) for the baseline INT patch. The version I posted in this thread doesn't include the changes to the effect routines that will actually make INT work (because it sounded like you might not have wanted that).

Thanks! I think I'm done now, but just to be sure, since this is my first translation project where I also do 100% of the hacking:
AFEA ... B00B means typing EA from 32FFA to 3301B?

I know Square was on the way out and maybe their heads weren't fully in the game but HOW did so many broken spells make it through the testing phase?

That and the "special weapons that do extra damage yet don't really do extra damage" thing always bugged me.

Yet the game becoming so successful despite these issues must speak to how far ahead of most of the competition it was anyway.

That's true. At the time it was my favorite NES RPG and I had most of the good ones to compare it to.
