so, when using the speed up to move around quicker, does the way the character moves make anyone else think of the benny hill music? XD

I’ve only ever played the original NA version but there are a bunch of action replay codes to adjust both the game speed and the character movement speed. You can also toggle them on and off at will, so you can essentially create your own speed modifying buttons, but even better. When using the character movement codes all the animations are the same you just move faster, so it’s much less jarring than increasing the frame rate of the whole game. Still, that doesn’t make the fights go any faster so it’s mostly just for traversal.
