When I try to boot up the game I keep getting 'Error 25: a critical error occured in Direct 3D'.

Um... What?

Try doing the video test again and use DirectDraw. This might work.

Found the problem; It won't play at the same time as FFXI, I was waiting for a patch to download, and had the window minimized. Thanks for the advice though, if it screws up on it's own I'll know what to do.
