Good god, Lois & Clark is so goofy. Decided to watch s4's Toyman episode first ("Toy Story") and some of the dialogue -- along with the delivery -- is worse than the stuff I've seen in amateur indie films. Granted, the Toyman's brief villain speech right after it ("No, suing them would be the adult way to handle it") was pure, joyous, unadulterated camp. (Pun intended.)

Gojira was awesome. I'm glad I saw it in theaters, because the sound was incredible. I felt like my ears were being assaulted

Who was the Toyman in that one? I can't remember.

I really liked the animated series Toyman. It was interesting characterization and actor casting. But the DCAU was pretty spot-on when it came to villain casting in general.

Some original character, played by an actor who looks familiar but I doubt I've seen him in anything (except Murder, She Wrote)

Yeah, his origin story and character design was really neat. And the DCAU has some of my preferred villain origin stories, including the decision to tie Brainiac into Superman's origin story.

Granted, part of my like for the origin stories in the DCAU is that it covered a lot of villains I knew relatively little about in the first place. Prior to Superman TAS, my only experience with Toyman was probably the Superfriends version (which also had a great character design)

Had a good time running a one-off session of FATE Accelerated for my D&D group yesterday (because there are members on vacation and the others thought a change of pace might be a good idea). They played time travelers going back to the year 1996 to change the future ... by saving the life of Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas. And that was before things went off the rails. Good fun. Would not mind running a FATE session again.

FATE is great if you have a group of DM or writers.
It works very well they're creative and good at crafting short, powerful sentences.

Huh. Bray Wyatt has certainly taken an interesting direction.

I guess his gimmick is that he's trying to brainwash kids? And in addition to getting buff, apparently he's had a kid with ring announcer JoJo. Good for him... well, other than cheating on his wife and ditching his kids.

I blame it on the fact that it was originally created to run Amber games.
