I have come to the conclusion that the XM4 is a very weak gun.

Yup its a double tap gun. I got killed alot by it in nuketown today.

Agree it's in a very bad spot right now. It and the famas are the worst rifles in their current state in my experience. Granted, my Famas is like level 8 so have yet to unlock all the good stuff, but after the nerf it just feels like a worse QBZ, which I also have very few attachments for, so can't really form a proper judgement yet.

The XM4 though is just painfully average and I've got it almost maxed. Don't really feel compelled to use it over the AK or Krieg. With those two I feel like I got a half chance against burst rifles lol at least it's not the Barrett I guess?

Then again, I just unlocked the 'Resistance' challenge using the XM4 in Satellite domination map.

It's really not, it's just average. Lower TTK with great range and accuracy making it a more consistent AR. I've been wrecking with my agency suppressor + takedown barrel class. If anything it needs a slight ROF buff, M4 is supposed to be 900 RPM.

The real worst automatic in the entire game is the FAMAS, the thing got absolutely decimated in that uncalled for patch a couple days in. I only got a couple of matches with it before the nerf but it WAS my favorite AR and now it is totally unusable.

Yeah, the FAMAS was brutalized. I used it a few times before the nerf hammer hit and thought that it was a solid gun, but still needed some attachments like extended mags to really be great. And it didn't seem to even be a gun I died to a lot, nothing like the MP5 spam at least. I get killed more by AK-47s, XM4s, M16s, AUGs and snipers than it.

Yet here they felt the need to come along and not only hit it with a damage range nerf, but massively increase horizonal recoil on top of it too. Which seemed absolutely an out of left field nerf, and to me took it from maybe a high average gun (With the right attachments.) to one of the worst full autos in the game.

I got this joke gun gold and I won't even bother making a print for it once they add the feature,

It feels... Weird? Sometimes it seems like it drops people quick and then other times it seems it takes more bullets than it probably should. I don't know I'm about level 45 or so and its progression and it's becoming a chore to finish because it seems inconsistent.

I just switched to the AK47 to get it gold, and sweet performance aquaman! This thing shreds. It actually destroys everything.
I usually take guns for what they are, but the XM4 is absolutely terrible. The XM4 now is the kind that will impress me when someone pull off crazy rushing streaks and all that s***.
