To me, the worst intro easily belongs to RE3 Remake. I just found it inexcusable that they used stock footage from the Rodney King riots to show the beginning of the T-virus outbreak in Raccoon City. No zombies in an intro about a zombie outbreak...yeah, okay. It was so jarring having a mix of in-game graphics showing Nemesis awakening combined with footage of live actors and it really embodies the rest of the game as a product that was lazily put together. A moth goes into a podiatrist's office... |
RE6 no question. You start running from a goddamn crashing plane on the freeway like it's Die Hard. Then immediately cut to a slow ass tutorial with Leon and Helena in some alleyway. It's like the quickest I ever got whiplash from a game's bad pacing. God's lonely man |

7. It's just so random. We had the 3 previous games establishing that B.O.Ws are a global threat and that Umbrella's end did nothing to halt this, in fact in game rise to Bioterrorism, we've seen our heroes growing to be badasses and suddenly the series want to us pay attention to some nobody searching for his wife? No thanks, where are Chris and the gang? The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. |
