If you collect all the Lost Souls in the Medievil remake you get what I consider to be the best possible reward a remake can offer: unlocking the original game. No matter if the remake is better or worse than the original, the gesture alone of having the original game makes it worth it imo.

Pitfall on SNES (and maybe Genesis?) had the original Atari version in it. I don't think it was an unlock, I think it was basically a hidden stage but I don't remember because I haven't played that game in over 20 years.

I vague remember SNES. I think I had only 4-5 games, including Mortal Kombat, before I move up to PS1 which was where i started playing games more seriously. Sorry for going off topic, nostalgia hits hard.

I had no idea the Medieval remake had the original as an unlockable. I loved it on the PS1, and was hyped for the remake, but haven’t picked it up yet...guess I gotta get on that now.

Thanks!
For any whom this post happens to offend, I can get you a great deal on a spine.
Never heard of that game but that's pretty cool and I agree, it'll be nice if R2make and R3make does something like that.
Waiting for Senpai to blank me.
