Get there

No signals.
No trailer wiring.
Tongue lock doesn't function.
No safety chains.
Both tires are separating along the side walls.

Get it out of the compound, and can see both wheels wobbling as I drive. Stop, check, both have a dirty negative camber.

Limp it to the shop, call the office.
"Well no one said anything before you did about any of this"

Ugh. Guys have to communicate better. Just fix s***. It's not hard.

Small atco on wheels.

It's getting fixed now but.... How do you let this get so bad? I would have made it 25km with that trailer. Maybe

I wonder the same about some of my jobs as well. I transport clients, and sometimes my boss will give me an address for a client who has been a client for years. I go to that address, and find out that client hasnt lived there for a year or two.

How hard is it to call the co-coordinator and tell her the client moved?

I find that alot of site supers are so busy not talking to one another that they forget we're on the same team.

This f***show was avoidable by simply doing a walk around 2 weeks ago when it was determined we were doing this job.

Broken s*** is kind of the norm in the real world. So far this week....

Monday a welder went out.
Tuesday another welder went out.
TODAY, two miles into our hour and a half drive, driver side rear tire blows out on the highway. I let it slow down on its own before pulling it over and had the kids change the wheel.

Then another welder started getting fritzy and wouldn't arc consistently. Then the scissor lift lost reverse gear.
I faced it all and I stood tall- And did it my way.

Huh r4 survived to the end of his workday to post? I thought tire blowouts tend to cause some pretty nasty accidents.

My boss is broke and just bought a brand new Prius C. She is financing it. Her old car was a 20 year old Toyota Echo that broke down with a repair that was more than what the car was worth. She is also 60, has an estranged adult daughter and is divorced.
