Healing items (Hi-potions and remedies)

Ok, Why?
You can have Cures, Curas, Curagas and Esunas (unless you missed Siren).
You can have any number of X-Potions by playing cards.

I haven't found any Occult Fan magazines

There is one Occult Fan in the library of the garden.
There is another Occult Fan in the pub in Dollet.
There was (and you lost the chance to get it) another Occult Fan in Fisherman Horizont.

Not sure what all items to sell and which I might need to refine magic to junction from or to upgrade weapons

You can sell any healing object (both HP and status) without trouble.
But since you are already mobile, go get Tomberry first, and train his menu abilities with the cactuars.

Cures (and its family) are junctioned to stats. I don't want my stats changing mid-fight. I am trying to get Siren to learn Treatment so I can stop buying healing items. I keep playing cards and have only gotten a Biggs and Wedgs card worth an X-potion once.

I checked the library and cannot find an Occult Fan anywhere. I haven't been to FIsherman's Horizon yet and I only went to Dollet in the mission.

I do not have access to Tonberry or Cactuars yet. Still in Garden, it just started moving in an FMV.

To get good cards play the Trepie in the balamb garden cafeteria.

When you challenge those guys to cards, choose to play the guy in the back. Save first! He has good cards, and isn't your average top left type of player. You can really stock up on cards from him. You can get the 20 Elnoyle cards you need for Squalls ultimate weapon from him.

Is kind of bad for junctioning. Curaga is worth something, but not a lot.
I am sure you can, with the items you have right now, get better spell than cure and cura by refining. Unless you missed a GF (You should have them all from Shiva to Ruby) and you will be getting the opportunity for the last one from the first row rather quick.

Well, I even forgot that Treatement exist. For me, at least, is better to guard against them than to heal them.

You should play against the Gatekeeper, he have good cards to get (nothing unique, though).

Oh, yes, since you said you are in the mobile garden, I though that you can already control it. You are just floating aimlessly. Sorry.
I suggest you to read a guide for what it comes next, as is super easy to miss.
I 100% recommend this one:

Pft, you wrote .png when clearly was a .jpg.

Anyways, coming back to what I was saying, even if you miss the Occult Fan magazines, is not something that useful or anything like that.

Also, keep in mind that you recieve Gil by just runing around. So just run around in the garden and you will get Gil.
Also, you will not be able to see the queen of cards for a while, so, for now, you are stuck with those card rules.

Hopefully I will get some new rules and I will try to find the magazine. Also, I might try putting "MAGIC" on more than one character. I have this setup right now:

MUG
DRAW
MAD RUSH
ITEM

ATTACK
DRAW
CARD
ITEM

ATTACK
GF (for carbuncle)
DRAW
MAGIC

That seems fine. But doesnt Mad Rush turn Mug into a regular attack?

Also, I like Final Fantasy VIII more than Final Fantasy VII.
