Did Biden's first year seem to go by faster than Trump's first year? - Results (57 votes)
Is it just me, or did Biden's first year as president fly by at a blazing speed? VP Harris also seemed to stay out of the limelight for the most part. Biden had to deal with COVID-19, mass shootings, and the War in Afghanistan. But somehow, it doesn't feel that January 20, 2020 was that long ago.
By contrast, Trump's first year (from January 20, 2017 to January 20, 2018) seemed to be excruciatingly long. Remember that Charlottesville happened during that time, and despite his infamous "very fine people on both sides" speech, that somehow doesn't even crack the top five list of worst things he did as the president. Even though hindsight is 20/20, does it seem that Biden's first year went by at a faster pace than Trump's first year?
