  3. The Congressional Republican lead has all but evaporated.

Now, it's a matter of how motivated Democratic voters are to come to the polls.

Republicans were up by +10 at one point in November and all the leads in the polls they have seemingly have vanished.

The only poll I trust is the actual election, and I'm not too sure about trusting Red States to have fair elections anymore tbh.

Was reading an article about how there's infighting between Repub Senators because some are adamant to shut down the government unless the mandate is defunded as well as part of the agreement and another faction is worried they'll face backlash and be blamed for the shutdown.

Though I'm not sure why, tbh. When Trump bragged about shutting down the government literally just over no funding for his border wall, which Schumer had actually offered earlier in exchange for DACA protections that Trump refused, the "leftist" mainstream media was able to successfully convince the nation it was stubborn and unreasonable Dems keeping the nation shut down, even though they and Congressional Republicans had already come to a deal, and it was all on Trump.

No doubt the "leftist" mainstream media will convince the country it was Dems fault this time as well.

"Generic Democrat" tends to perform better the candidates the party actually nominates. That "Generic Republican" is even close, let alone ahead, is a problem. As seen on the graph they're usually way behind.

I assume this hubbub about abortion has gotten the dem base energized, rightfully so. Republicans are pushing too far with this stuff and it's going to cost them.

Seems like a slight tick towards Dems lately, which is good.

But Rs never actually had a +10 lead. That was a single poll that got disproportionate attention due to how unusual a result it was from a reputable pollster. It was also an outlier

Go off the aggregate.

That graph is still very much trending in the wrong direction, though.

I think it’s also that people are turned off by how the House openly advocates for Government shutdowns. They don’t want their checks to stop.
