Keith Olbermann has been accused of politicizing Tuesday's Oxford High School shooting in Michigan, which left three students dead, by appearing to connect it to Barstool Sports and Donald Trump.

In a tweet overnight Wednesday, the sports and political commentator highlighted the alleged shooter's mother reported support for former President Trump.
Quoting a tweet by Barstool Sports that paid tribute to 16-year-old victim Tate Myre, Olbermann wrote: "This kid died to stop a school shooter whose mother echoed the Trumpist Fascism of" before tagging Barstool Sports and its president, Dave Portnoy.

I'm a hardcore centrist Independent, but Olbermann has to be careful what he says. He probably hurt Tate's family with this statement.
I'm an independent voter, and I'd say screw Tate's family for allowing this to happen.

Furthermore, I don't think Keith Olbermann went far enough.

I am a Independent who believes in getting things done.

People tend to be with their own kind. I don't favor it, but I won't care if it happens.

So then yes, you support segregation.

I don't care for the issue, people tend to be with their own kind.

But that's not the focus for me---I'm focused on Tate's heroism. He's my hero, and he should be yours as well.

The Right refuses to acknowledge that virtually all school shooters are white, male and generally come from conservative upbringings

They hate when politicizing an issue makes them look bad, nothing more

We don't know if the shooter was conservative or liberal.
Then why are they politicizing the heroism of the students?

Weird how they aren't focused on the shooter. You know, like they were for the Timothy Simpkins shooting.

Its almost like they're purposefully ignoring the fact that the shooter is a white male from a conservative household

The initial article that Keith responded to wasn’t about the shooter, just the kid who ran to help

Yeah, because they're deflecting away from the shooter

Which is something they wouldnt be doing if the shooter was black or hispanic. They want to talk about anything other than the fact that kid from a pro gun, pro trump household murdered 4 classmates
