I hope places that need it do what’s necessary whether it means reinstating mask mandates or whatever. The willfully unvaccinated ought toget what they deserve, but not at the cost of throwing health care workers to the wolves. It’s time we started thinking of them and continue to pressure low vaccination states to do what is necessary.

Thats never going to happen. The sooner we accept this reality, the better.

They should, but they won’t.

So? We don’t give up on the rights of women in red states. We don’t give up on voter rights or marriage equality rights or any of the other issues we care about in states that are against it. By that same token it’s every liberals responsibility to fight for those casualties in states that won’t get their Covid act together.

What I’m saying is - we can force federal mandates, but the only people that will comply are blue states that are either already going to do it or have high vaccination rates.

So we are going to sacrifice even more small businesses and employment rates for people that already won’t comply? Why? So we can feel good? That’s foolish at this point.

If this is what they want, then let it happen. Those who want vaccinations will get them and be safe.

We shouldn’t have to do anything. If there are people who aren’t getting vaccinated and are doing so by their own decision (which they mostly are), then we should stay open and let whatever happens happens. Mask mandates and closures just impact those that already are vaccinated. It won’t impact those people at all.

It will impact our healthcare system / health workers / hospitals. That’s probably the biggest problem they’re causing. That’s one of the biggest problems in the states with low vaccination rates.

I’ve heard a lot of stories recently about healthcare workers quitting because those conditions are so bad (not to mention anti-vaxxers apparently don’t treat them very well).

There is no lockdown without a full lockdown, which is never happening because Bezos and Waltons need their worker bees to make them more billions so they can make more trips to space.

Those two thrived off the shutdown. They would welcome it, let’s be real.

A full lockdown would prevent people from going to work, unless you work absolute essensial would be medical, fire, and police.

Half ass lockdowns shutdown small businesses while keeping big tech and corp open because they say so.

Full lockdown would kill the economy. Without question.
