Many states have it under control.

Like 4 states have it under control, and that's mostly by natural features, not elective ones.

We are doing so poorly at managing this that doing M4A would be trillions cheaper once the virus is done with us than it would have been before. Taxpayers don't have to cover pre-existing conditions when COVID gets them first. What a s***ty way to move forward.

We can't beat it at this point.

We could EASILY beat this with minimal damage if we did a few simple things.

1) make testing and PPE regularly accessible regardless of what party the state's governor belonged to. On top of this increased testing, we do mandatory contact tracing with military enforced testing and quarantines of those in close proximity

2) an ACTUAL shutdown of non-essential businesses that can't switch to 100% work from home, as well as imposing employee restrictions. And no bulls*** broad definitions of essential businesses. I want to only see actual essentials open.

3) couple the above shutdown with an actual economic support plan that reinforces those restrictions. if your business wants aid to weather the storm, you need to comply with the safety guidelines. mandatory rent and mortgage moratoriums with economic assistance for landlords to cover their operating expenses (utilities/repairs)

4) mandatory mask mandates. Hardball states who don't want to comply by making covid support funds contingent on the state receiving them, including individual economic stimuluses.

5). ACTUALLY TREAT THE VIRUS LIKE IT'S AN EXISTENTIAL THREAT INSTEAD OF THE f***ING COLD. Like that alone would do wonders.

Hopefully this is similar to what Biden ends up doing.

I approve this message. ✌

I love when the cult freaks love to toss around terms they know nothing about like cognitive dissonance

Then without even blinking an eye they can absorb mutually exclusive messages from dear leader:
a) we controlled the virus and saved MILLIONS of lives
b) we can't control the virus and need to live with it

which one is it?

Narutaki was right. This is all Decade's fault.
