There's this South Park episode being accused of promoting transphobia:

Offensive speech is just free speech, and the exact type of speech that the first amendment was designed to protect.

I'm very supportive of trans rights, but it's just a fact that MtFs have a biological advantage in sports against natural born women. I served in the Army and our training was co-ed. There's a damn good reason fitness tests have lower standards for women than men. Also remember when that 200ish ranked male tennis player played one of the WIlliams and utterly smoked her?

So, I actually agree with how the episode put it. It's not black and white and nuance matters.

The irony here is that this topic basically is the reason the episode was made (if you watched the episode)
Modded for calling someone a glass pane (flaming), for saying a topic headline was stupid (trolling) and that a show was an abortion (offensive to abortions?)

South park has a long and shameful history of transphobia and verbal trans bashing. There's no ambiguity about it, it's not clever, it's not satire, it's comedy that relies on the viewer agreeing that trans people aren't valid. That you are trying to be funny doesn't stop your hate speech from being hate speech.

I laughed. I think comedy is one of the best ways to present these type of issues personally.
Sorry if my posts make you feel emotional. It is not my intent.

No there isn't.
If the fitness test are the minimum physical capabilities you need to serve, then there's no reason for it to be lower. If it isn't then there's no justification for the test.
