Also - something tells me the wall will never see the light of day between lawsuits and the likelihood that he loses in 2020.

Unless we decide to run someone at the far left... ugh

We get it, you're gonna vote Trump either directly or indirectly if someone like Sanders wins because I guess the idea of everyone having healthcare just scares you s***less.

You can give it a rest, you're quite translucent.

No, I just won’t vote.

You’re the reason I hate Sanders.

I didn't read the first part of his message at first and was more directing it at people who really believe the 'same thing both sides' garbage, so I do think his accusation was uncalled for based on my knowledge. And if there was no basis, he probably should take that back. Just clarifying so that you don't think I agreed with that accusation.

But lets be honest. We need to vote for whoever is the nominee. Missouri was solid red in 2016 so I voted 3rd party for president (Had it been remotely close I would have sucked it up and voted Hillary.). I regret that now and wish I had done more to get people to vote.

Thing is, you presumably support Biden because you want to win. Fair enough, so do I. I support Bernie, but I fully acknowledge Biden still does better in head to head polls at the moment. But once everyone gets talking I absolutely think Bernie can get to where he was in 2016 on head to head polls vs Trump, which typically had him beating Trump above the margin of error.

So why make the same mistake people harp Bernie supporters on? If enough people took your mentality, especially in swing states, assuming Bernie is the nominee, he could lose even on a technicality all because enough people like you were to slighted by internet users to suck up your pride and vote for the only candidate in the general who could win.

Essentially it could become a self fulfilling prophecy if you are adamant on that.

And, you are starting to sound a lot like a far right Trump supporter, not in policy but this one mannerism, much like how they often end up blaming liberals for 'making them vote Trump', and for joining fascist groups because 'mean libs accused them so why not join. ' , you seem primed to blame a subset of Bernie supporters for not wanting to support him in the general over Trump. Just comes across as a 'look what you made me do' thing.

You sure you're not a Trump supportor?

That voting, not voting, out of spite is so like what some of them would do.

"See what you made me DO!"

It's a brain dead stance.

we as a nation have greater issues than I thought.

This is the obvious conclusion to take away from the last few years. It's unfortunate that some people need yet another confirmation of this fact.

No I'm not.

Or at least I shouldn't be, since you claim your fear is far-left winger candidates, which even though he isn't in the rest of the civilized world, he's considered a card carrying commie socialist here in the U.S. by idiots. Nobody on the "far left" is actually running.

Or you're just disingenuous as f*** and just looking for a reason to make your contempt for him as a personal swipe against me.

You clearly don't know anything about me because in multiple threads I have various people jumping down my throat for saying Biden has the likeliest chance of winning. I'm not some Bernie or Buster like you're trying to make me out to be. Obviously I favor the policies of Sanders far more, but I don't ignore the reality of the nation that elected Donald f***ing Trump just because he's my favored candidate.

And by not voting you would be indirectly voting for Trump, which I mentioned.

The people with the most responsibility are the ones who directly vote for a candidate, nobody has as much fault as the person who actually votes for a candidate, but asinine "I didn't vote because I hate both candidates and so I'm making a statement" nonsense doesn't actually make a statement or change anything. All you're doing is indirectly voting for the candidate who wins by doing nothing to prevent it if you wouldn't want that candidate.

You're not making a statement and nobody gives a f***. If they did things would have changed by now and we wouldn't have this same bulls*** 2 party system we're stuck with, but as long as we're stuck with this being the way things are that's how it is and that's what it means to just stay home.

Your vote does matter, but only when you use it. Millions of apathetic people voting in TX could turn it blue for an election, but nobody gives a f*** about them if they just stay home to "protest" because TX will just continue being red and nothing will change.

And the reason I told you to give it a rest is because you keep b****ing about the prospect of the Dems running a "far left" candidate in the general when there's not even one running, you're just buying into right-wing propaganda and bulls*** because your mind is weak.

He's said in multiple threads recently that he's worried about the Dems running "far-left candidates" when nobody even on the roster is far-left.

If he thinks that, then logically he'd consider something like M4A or UHC to be "far-left" which just shows how weak his mind is and how susceptible it is to right-wing propaganda and bulls***.

I don't remember if he's called out Sanders specifically, but he's as "far-left" as it gets and in the rest of the civilized western world they'd pass out from laughter at the idea of him being labeled "far-left".

If he wasn't b****ing about this potential future prospect in multiple threads I probably wouldn't have mentioned it or even cared, but he's getting Benji levels of insufferable, only with less words and targeted supporter insults.
