Right wingers aren't afraid the Muslims are going to bring Sharia Law to America because they don't want it - they're just afraid republicans won't get the credit!

The 'personhood' of a fetus is likely going to be a philosophical question that we can't conclusively answer, at least for a long while.

But you'd think that it would be unquestionable that any woman getting abortions is a person, at least. You can talk to them, they have feelings and thoughts. If you hurt them, you've hurt a person, and nobody can deny that. So how someone can see themselves as morally righteous while advocating that is beyond me.

Criminalizing abortions is just one step (a big step) in implementing patriarchal white nationalist Christian theocracy. It doesn't matter what the woman wants, she is merely a vessel for his seed and domestic servant to the man's family.

How can a woman be punished for something she has a constitutional right to procure?

Because a lot of it is about punishing people, namely women, for having sex.

If the conservative wing was really pro-abortion, they'd be pro-birth control. Because that is one of the biggest deterrents of abortion.

But of course, they're anti that too.

You need to look at it from their point of view. In their minds, Roe v Wade was never legal to begin with because God’s law trumps any human laws.
