I need to give you evidence that someone being on drugs has a negative effect on their work ethic?

It would affect their work ethic if they were on drugs while at work. There's the key.

No...no it actually isn't.

Drugs have more effects on an individual impairment.

There's a group psychosis or something? I'm not sure what you're getting at.
Failure to at least give this show a chance gives anyone you see the right to punch you in the face.

Gov. Paul LePage is reinstating a law that says any single, able bodied person, between 18 and 50 must either work, volunteer, or enroll in an employment training program for 20 hours per week in order to continue to receive benefits.

Conservatives on Facebook are salivating over this. It's like they're screaming at the kids for tracking mud into the house while Nestle, Walmart, and GE run a train on them. Sorry for the x-rated political cartoon I just put in your head.

Twenty hours a week?

20 hours a week?

!!!!!!

This is bad, folks.
It's not good to read into the intentions of others when you don't even have the opportunity to sit down and talk with them.

It's the same stupid "weed rage"-type bulls--- the government has been repeating for decades. It's nothing but lies and those lies echoing in empty heads.

I'll use my city as an example Regina, Saskatchewan has a population of 230,000 to be on the safe side I'll just guess 200,000 or of working age. We have an unemployment rate at 3.4% and just one site that advertises job postings has 3066 jobs available. So realistically are unemployment rate should easily be under 3% if not 2%.

It may not be a job you want but, but it is a job. You can still continue to look for the job you want while you are working.

People abuse the system so give them the bare minimum to survive on that will give them more motivation to look.

I remember back when I used to think jobs just got handed to you and all you had to do was turn in the application, this delusion didn't last long. There was this program at my school where students would help keep things running and I helped out with the school library, I love books and enjoyed it greatly. Right around the time I graduated a low level position at the local library opened up and I was so excited because clearly that job was meant for me. So I went and put together a resume (never worked before, helped out at the school library and did some charity stuff) and went and got some recommendations from a couple of teachers and the librarian of the school library. As you can probably guess, I didn't get the job and was pretty heartbroken.

Then I went to college for awhile, got my 2 year degree and decided further education would be outside of my budget and resolved to get a job and get some work experience while waiting to turn 24 so I could get more favorable financial aid. It took me months to get hired, and only happened when I decided to 'unfairly' take advantage of my mother knowing some people and her asking one of her acquaintances to give me a job.

TLDR- A job being available doesn't mean you are going to get that job if you apply for it.

Hand out more resumes it may not be a job you want, hand out resumes to 200 places you are bound to get a job somewhere. Who knows you might even enjoy said job that you find and stay.

My job as an Electrician, was just going to be a job till I could afford university, turned out I really liked the job and continued that as my career path. If you limit your options you may have trouble finding a job. If you keep it open it is really not that hard to find a job

Bootstraps, derp derp derp. 100% employment is totally possible, people just do not try hard enough. Herp.
