The guy asked me for an example and I provided one. It is without question that many on the left have been quick to cry American terrorism, Israel/Zionist terrorism, domestic terrorism, and so on...unless terrorism was committed by a Muslim, and then they run away from the term preferring words like "spontaneous protest," "thrill-seeking" or "workplace violence." It's not up for debate that the Obama administration avoids the word terror like the plague, recently saying the Taliban is not terrorist either. If the Taliban isn't a terrorist group, what is? We've also seen that Obama will refuse to say that Islamic terrorism took place. What we've seen is a dual layer of terror denial, where if you can pin down the administration so they finally admit that a terror attack occurred, they will insist it's not Islam behind it. I'm sorry Mr. Kerry, but all these "thrill seekers" didn't coincidentally follow radical Islamic propagandists for months and all decide on their own that their excuse would be that they killed for Allah. The Muslim Brotherhood is not a secular thrill seeker group, the Islamic State is not a bunch of pagan daredevils. The absurdity of these statements is such that the administration would apparently rather try to combat terrorism by putting bungee jumping and skydivers on a watchlist rather than Islam.

As for the other issue, where I've already given one answer, we've seen several other problematic statements from the left. Oppose Obama's budget? Get called a hostage-taking terrorist. Use a gun to defend yourself from an attacker? Get called a terrorist. The media has gone out of its way to label its opponents with terms like "white Hispanic" and bring up false police brutality stories, implying whites terrorize blacks and no minorities in this country are safe. Exist as the state of Israel? Get called a terrorist. Nobody on the left cares about the sensitivities of Jews when they start throwing around allegations of Zionism. Protesters in Occupy and other groups could be found calling to drive Jews out of the country. Join our army and fight terrorists? Get called a terrorist, as we can see from the outrage over American Sniper. Barack Obama once said all we were doing overseas was air-raiding villages and killing civilians. Operate a successful company? Get called a terrorist. For all John Kerry's opposition to Iraq over WMD, he has now stated that CO2 is the biggest global WMD threat. I only wish all the Syrians killed at the hands of Assad were still alive to hear that nonsense.

From above (IRA as a proper noun): would the Obama administration, or anyone on the PC left, spend their time rubbing their hands together lamenting and moaning and claiming that the Irish Republican Army was not made up of Irish terrorists? We don't pull out that bull**** defense for any other group, just Islam. It's awfully telling, and disappointing, that today's Democrat party can toss out terrorism allegations like candy for their hateful base at anyone it bumps into, but zips the lip the instant the greatest driving force behind global terror in the world today pops up.

You can't fix a problem unless you admit there is one to begin with. Anyone who denies there is a problem becomes part of the problem. The war against terrorism has shifted to a front where we need people to actually admit there is a problem first.
