Hi! This is day 5 of an ongoing series where we give a Pokemon a regional form. Today we're doing Tyranitar, a Gen II Rock/Dark type Pokemon.

Today's interesting, Tyranitar actually has a lot of options. Maybe a steel-type based on MechaGodzilla? An ice type (mostly for Mega-Tryranitar)? A dragon type?
DLC Prediction:Arle is DLC 5, and Byleth, Akira, Hayabusa, and maybe Geno are among the post-pass characters. Hoping for Bandana Dee, Grovyle, and Maxwell.

Ice/Dark
Ability: Snow Warning

Stats:

HP:100
Attack:134
Defense:110
Sp. Atk:95
Sp. Def:100
Speed:61

Tyranitar has adapted to the colder climate of Galar, and its skin has turned from green to an almost transparent blue. Icicles grow from its chin and head, to look like a mohawk and beard.

Stats are the same, as I didn't see much reason to change them. I feel hail is an archetype that needs more love too.

Galarian Tyranitar Fire/Dark with G-Atomic Breath, a Special Fire move with enough Destructive force that it becomes Super Effective against Water and Rock types despite their resistance.

In the cold northern reaches of Galar, some Tyranitar have adapted by discarding their easily chilled rocky carapace and adapted a super powerful endothermic process to stay warm. This greatly accelerates their metabolism, leaving them voraciously hungry predators who move from one meal to the next. Their favorite food is the blubbery Walrein.

This is an idea I already had written. Nothing too special here. Mainly based on Larvitar's dex entries and that Pupitar looks kinda metalic.

Larvitar Steel/Ground
Filter/Stalwart*

Due to landslides, it had to eat its way a much farther distance than usual. The ingestion of several minerals caused it develop skin as hard as steel.

Despite its small size, its steel body is capable of protecting it from attacks with nary a scratch. It battles tougher opponents in order to increase its strength.

Pupitar Steel/Ground
Filter/Stalwart*

The bottom half of its body is sharpened to a point. By spinning rapidly while propelling itself forward, it can bore stright through an entire mountain.

By releasing internal gasses, it can propel itself like a missile. Thanks to its near impenetrable armor, it can propel itself with little worry of being hurt.

Tyranitar Steel/Dragon
Filter/Stalwart*

With a body covered in steel armor, it doesn't flinch even when pelted by boulders. It allows its opponent to attack it as much as they want before striking back.

It hunts down Pokemon with steel bodies like Aggron and Duraludon. It viciously tears parts of their metal armor off and eats them to sustain its own armor.
There are no bad questions. Just people too lazy to search for the answers.

Larvitar
Type: Fire
Appearance: A red Larvitar with a less pronounced face. It's body is slightly more rounded with the chest panel now being a light brown and the "holes" beside it no longer being present. Smoke can be seen billowing from its tail.
Description: This variety of Larvitar will consume anything and everything and needs a mountain of food to keep its internal fires burning. The temperature of these internal flames is so such that they are slowing consuming Larvitar itself.

Pupitar
Type: Fire
Appearance: A large spiky turtle shell with eight holes. Two red eyes an be seen within one of the holes
Description: Having now adapted to its own internal flame this Pokemon can now focus them on preparing for evolution. Through its body is still quite rugged it is not invincible and so if this Pokemon senses danger it can launch itself into the air, and control its flight, by shooting out jets of flame.

Tyranitar
Type: Fire / Poison
Appearance: The shell of regional Pupitar now with the head of regional Larvitar, surrounded by a ring of fire, and six red legs that are similar in appearance to standard Tyranitar (without the knee pads). The tail of standard Tyranitar is attached to the back and is both longer and in possession of a clear spike at the end.
Description: A fearsome creature that is armed with intense flames and lethal venom. It incinerates all in its path and consumes the ensuing ash to feed its flames. If one is capable of enduring the fire then Tyranitar with strike with its stinger and pump them full of a unique venom known as "liquid fire" for the intense burning sensation it causes before the inevitable end.

Decided to write up a new entry that's more close to the line's origins.

Larvitar Water/Ground
Water Veil/Intimidate*

It diverged millions of years ago where it retreated to the seas to escape a meteorite. As a result, it began to develop an amphibious lifestyle.

This variant was first discovered after the accidental release of waste in the ocean. It was initially thought that the waste was the cause of its appearance.

Pupitar Water/Ground
Filter/Intimidate*

It propels itself through water by releasing internal gases. It can sometimes be mistaken for a torpedo as it bursts through the water.

Its shell is incredibly durable, allowing it survive high levels of water pressure. It makes its home in the deepest trenches where it waits to evolve.

Tyranitar Water/Poison
Storm Drain/Intimidate*

It sleeps for long periods deep in the ocean. However, the moment it detects pollution in its environment, it immediately emerges onto land and wreaks havoc.

Its body can absorb chemicals, which undergo conversion. It can release a powerful blast of energy composed of whatever chemicals it has absorbed.
There are no bad questions. Just people too lazy to search for the answers.

R.Tyranitar

Rock/Poison
Radiation (Normal attacks are now Poison type and receive a damage boost)

It's said that long ago when studying alternate energy resources an island known as "Tyranitar Island" vanished in a massive explosion. It's believed that this form of Tyranitar is a descendant of the Tyranitar that lived on the island at the time. Below it's rocky hide its heart beats like a radioactive core, and it's Hyper Beam attacks have the destructive force of an atomic bomb.

Sounds exactly like the kind of awful design gamefreak would come up with
