I haven't bought the game, nor plan on it. Maybe if I find a used copy a kid left on the floor or in the trash I'll give it a go. Here's a question to those who have been playing it though

1) Was it worth the 60$?
2) If it was, whats your favorite aspect of the game?
3) How many hours do you have on it?
4) How long do you think you'll be playing this before you drop it. (Unless of course you play the same game forever like you do with gen 1)

The 100+ hour monster catching game? Absolutely if you're into that. Peoplewho want just another RPG will be disappointed

1) Was it worth the 60$?
Yep
2) If it was, whats your favorite aspect of the game?
Collecting them all
3) How many hours do you have on it?
So far 60 I think. Probably more
4) How long do you think you'll be playing this before you drop it. (Unless of course you play the same game forever like you do with gen 1)
I usually hit over 1000

1.) No. It's the weakest entry in the series both story-wise and content-wise. Its post-game is pretty much Gen 1's post-game, only replace Cerulean Cave with the worst Battle Tower in the series.
3.) Around 50 hours. Beat the game around 30, after grinding a lot of raids, and the rest has been breeding and Surprise Trade.
4.) Probably a few months. I always spend a ton of time breeding and training my perfect teams, but once that's done and over with, I fell like there's nothing left to do.

Seriously, the Ultra games had more content, and they were $40 3DS games.

I would say yes because I enjoy battling and team building. That being said z moves and megastars were better that g max.

G max on a sweeper is brutal and they should limited it to bad mons or specific mons.

Other than my g max gripe it looks good. Completing dex is totally doable. Not many legendaries is good.

I really hope that add the birds from let's go and I miss venasaur

G-max mons ARE limited to specific mons. You're thinking about plain old Dynamax, which I do agree with you there.

1) Yes
2) Catching monsters seems much, much easier. Which is a downside. But I’m having a lot of fun catching tons of different ones anyway, and there really are tons. Cool designs and just generally pleasant.
3) 20 hours
4) Probably around 40. Which is a very long time for me to spend on a game.

1. Worth getting but not worth $60. Try to find a secondhand copy if you can.
2. I love the raid and completing the dex. Plan to start breeding for fun.
3. 65 hours and just past the 8th gym because #2
4. I'll wait until Home comes out to decide whether I want to keep a live dex. I hope to be able to get at least one shiny from breeding.
