So far I have Flammableghost voting to recruit Lana, and from jimbiz's post it looks like he want to recruit both? (please clarify if you only want Aiden, or both)

Jim, Neville, Cena, Ellsworth, Breeze and Corbin rest to recover some energy. The first 4 also recover a bit of HP.

The other members are checking out their fallen opponents. As Nikki tries to search Lana, however, Aiden, who's recovered sufficiently to get up, blocks her way, refusing to let anyone molest wife of his partner. He stands guard over her stubbornly, ready to attack anyone who tries to touch Lana.

Eventually, having rested sufficiently, the rest of the team join the search for useful items. the following are available for the taking:

1) Medkits (10 packs):

These are like the standard healing kit that everyone started with. You can replace any partially-used kits that you already have with a full one, or pick up extras if you wish.

2) Tranquilizer Syringe (2 doses) - carried by doctor, 1st claim goes to Noam, 2nd claim goes to Ambrose

This works exactly like the one Ambrose is already carrying.

3) Powerful Painkiller Syringe (1 dose) - carried by doctor, 1st claim goes to Noam, 2nd claim goes to Ambrose

Can only be used once on a character for the entire game. For the duration of one fight, all damages done to the character are reduced by 50%. He also cannot be stunned or be subject to any injury-related penalty during that fight (like internal bleeding or dislocated limb). Also the character does not suffer any penalty for that fight when his HP drops below 5. He can also continue fighting after his HP is reduced to 0, and will only be knocked out when his HP drops below -5. However, he MUST receive healing after the fight to bring his HP up to 0 or above again to prevent him from dying.

4) Power Pep Pills (12 tablets - every 4 takes up one single item slot) - carried by Trainer#2, 1st claim goes to Jason Jordan

Each tablet reduces energy reduction rate by 1/2 and also removes Fatigue penalty from lack of sleep. Effect of each tablet lasts for 4 hour. Fatigue will start to kick in after 12 consecutive hours of game time (if you win the game in less time than that then you will not be affected by Fatigue).

Special items:

5) Plaster casts (1 for arm, 1 for leg, each counts as 1 item if it's not being worn) - carried by EMT#1 & #2 respectively, Noam gets first claim on the leg cast:

When worn, the arm cast reduces your character's Precision by -3, while the leg cast reduces Agility by -3. They also each (cumulatively) gives you a 10% chance of completely negating damage for normal attack, and will also halve the damage from special attacks that target the relevant body parts (e.g. arm cast protects against armbars). Each also has a 25% chance of doing between +1-2 damage in normal attacks. However, the arm cast also reduces the character's chance of locking on a special submission, while the leg casts means that teh character must take 2 extra rounds to execute a high-risk move if he attempts one.

Taking off the cast during combat takes up one round. Putting it on takes 2.

6) Protective elbow + knee pads (1 set) - carried by Trainer #1

To be worn as a complete set, and doesn't take up any item slots. When worn, they give 20% chance of reducing normal attack damage by 50%, but they also have a 10% chance of reducing the character's own normal attacks by 50%, unless the character is hitting with a weapon.

The PM specified that you get first claim on an item that is "not carried by an individual character". In this case it's carried by trainer#1, so your ability doesn't apply.

There's a way to recharge (by batteries), but you haven't found any yet.
