I liked Ages better, but I also prefer puzzles to combat, so that might account for it.

Seasons was more straight forward, and I cant really think of any time where I really had to think/experiment to progress the story. Ages had a few moments that took a bit of effort to progress.

I love both but prefer the heavier puzzle focus of Ages. Both are great games, I prefer both of them to LA.

I remember being on gamefaqs when these games came out. I started with Ages and everyone else was boasting about how Seasons was better. Now everyone says ages is better. I’m so confused.

I like Seasons more. Ages had more cool ideas, but I always feel kind of restricted while playing it.

I thought both trading sequences ended up with the same reward.

In Seasons, it's just a hint.

And in Ages you get a broken sword that you then have to go get repaired. Frankly seasons was less annoying to me

Repaired by another obnoxious minigame no less.

If you have the Cane of Somaria, you can't lose the mini-game.
Fun fact: DC Comics is short for Detective Conan Comics.
Thank you for taking the time to read my signature. My signature loves you.

I tend to like them equally in how they complement each other.

But if I had to pick, I would probably go with Seasons, because it's overall more fast and fun to play. I also hate the overabundance of (terrible) mini-games in Ages. That was a huge minus in my book, where a remake will have a lot to do to make those better.
It's a secret to everybody!

Ages was way too confusing to get into dungeons

I've played through Seasons like...3 times not counting linked games? Meanwhile for me, Ages frustrates me to the point of needing a guide to comfortably get through it. It's probably my least favorite Zelda game, with the DS titles being a close second. And I happen to love 2D Zeldas, like a lot. I'm still waiting on a Wii U now Switch remake of Four Swords Adventures with local coop.

Trading game still doesn’t end in a reward as you called it.

Seasons was such a novel concept I think. Controlling the seasons?? I would love to see that come back in a BotW style.
