I'm having trouble running StarCraft on my Windows 7 laptop. Every time I try and start it up the game crashes saying "StarCraft has stopped working".

Can someone help me get this running? I've been looking forward to playing this game for weeks.

I've tried a bunch of stuff I've seen suggested online but nothings helped. I've tried the following already:
- Compatibility Mode: NT
- Compatibility Mode: XP
- No compatibility mode, but all other compatibility settings ticked
- Running SC after killing the "explorer.exe" process

Info:
- OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)
- SC Product Version: 1.05
- Brood Wars: On hand, but not installed

Fixed! Yay!

All I had to do was go to battle.net's classic patches section and download the StarCraft patch.
