I mean come on, can't handle losing despite conquering the Oxide Time Trials? Can't handle people using items correctly, both placement and time wise to ruin your boost or knock you off the stage?

You have Digital N Tropy. Suck it up dude. Can't win them all.

I'd rather be known as the "loser" who competes with Pura, than the mega loser who rage quits with Digital N Tropy.

I've said it once, and said it again. No amount of Time Trialing and min-maxing is going to "save" you online. It can help, but people need to understand there's no such thing as being immune. You're going to lose once in a while. There's always going to be someone better.

Ragequitting won't solve or change anything.

I welcome getting my ass beat.

Reminds me of the Mario Kart Wii days. Where I'm the only max rank player using a "low tier" character and still competing with the big dogs. How? I never gave up using my character and kept playing people better than me on purpose. It made me better to be ABLE to compete with someone I enjoy.

Why are people so salty all the time? I enjoy challenging races versus cruising in 1st all the time. If you're cruising in 1st all of the time, there is something wrong.

This is a good take

When I get wrecked with everything during lap 1, I just play for second, you can win them all, and if your getting top 3s regularly I think your a good player

Exactly! All you're doing ragequitting is being spoilt and losing points for the Championship Board, losing Nitro and losing Wumpa Coins you would have been awarded if you stayed.

Wanting to win is a strong feeling, but it's almost impossible to win every single time. So apparently this guy thought he was a God in single player (I mean he has Digital N.Tropy, so he IS good.)

Went online, got destroyed then quit. I have seen this oh too many times. That's not how it works. Single player can't be compared to online.

As long as I'm on the podium, I take that and be happy.

Why does it matter so much? It's not like a badly designed fighting game where the opponent loses on their ranking points because of rage quits. The rest still get to finish their race. Could be many reasons why he did it. doesn't mean he never wins either.

I've had a race where I made a silly mistake and then got into the f***ing item bombardment mill where no one advances anywhere because everyone is shooting each other. Fine USF pad is coming up and that will put me on a podium spot easy. Nope got clocked out of USF just when I got it.

Maybe I could have still gotten to the podium maybe I couldn't, don't know. After all the bombardment which I was still OK with, the last clock just annoyed me enough to say "f*** this s***, I'm out". Not getting on the podium wasn't the big deal. Can't win all the time. The feeling when your last hope gets taken away with that f***ing clock was enough for me.

It was clearly rage quitting because he would've lost.

I swear the Funky Kong players in Wii were some of the saltiest b****es ever when they lose to a None Funky player.

Likewise said to all the Metal Mario players in MK7 and 8 and even the AGES racers in Transformed.
