Idk...there were only a handful of good playable characters in MUA1.

What game did you play? There are tons of really fun characters in MUA1. The game is not perfect, but the design of the characters was really good for the most part.

I absolutely do not agree.

MUA3 isn't bad but the gameplay really does feel uninspired and lazy.

Man, I can't imagine what you would think of the first two games in that case.

Thanks for the input all! I went ahead and bit it... at the end of the day, it's still a fun beat'em up.

I honestly think that is all they intend it to be. The game is deliberately retro. It's like an old school arcade beat em up, with modern graphics and more advanced combat (and a huge roster of 50).

A lot of the characters in that game had terrible move sets that couldn't handle hoards of enemies or didn't do good enough damage.

The only good characters that could handle the game were:
Captain America
Cyclops
Hulk
Wolverine
Nick Fury
Mr Fantastic
Dr Strange
Invisible Woman
Hawkeye
Ice Man

Everyone else were trash and couldn't handle the game.

Well this is just untrue. Yeah some characters were definitely more useful/fun than others but the game wasn’t that hard. You really could use whoever you wanted.
I have had this sig. since October 29th, 2004

Wow, that's not true in the least. Every character can easily get through the game. So many of the characters you didn't list are very strong.

This. Truthfully, the game leaves a bit of a sour taste.

MUA1 is pathetically easy. Only a third of the cast can handle the game? Lmao
