Wow, Zagato does not mess around. I could barely do any damage to him thanks to Supreme and stuff that I had no choice but to wait till my SP was regenerated before I could attack again since Emeraude would have killed me otherwise. Emeraude~~~~ ;_;

It's actually pretty funny for Amuro to second attack bosses despite his base skill + ace to not be enough to double most of these bosses but Amuro basically says "lol, double time".

I don't even remember the plot of Rayearth anymore actually.

Anyway, just finished stage 36 space route and the two routes are back so now I can say a few things about the characters again.

- Amuro is a beast in this game. Unlike V and X where you had to wait till he got ace'd to utilize his 2nd Attack, here he's pretty much doing it mostly thanks to Dingo and Frontier Setter support till he's ace'd. And when he's ace'd + said support, he can double bosses as well. So can Chirico too but Chirico needs to hit Superhuman Ability HP levels before he can do the same.
- Getter Robo doing good so far as expected really.
- Not impressed with Dann. Sure he's one of my top characters but that's only because he's been training at the simulator since early game. Probably will change mid game.
- Kouji is still pretty good though I didn't get Mazin Power till after the route split so he's definitely gonna be better since Mazin Power isn't his ace bonus in this game.
- I actually underestimated Black Sarena in V cause geez, Akito can tank like crazy in this game.
- Deployed Sizzler and Jung is actually pretty good for a NUR. Support attack, support defend, Inertia Canceller though her final attack is a bit much at 5900. Still though, you could support with her Vulcan Blaster since that uses ammo.
- Sagiri default birthday blood is just so good; Wall, Daunt, and cheaper Resolve than the MC in Gespenst. Current final attack also uses ammo so you can literally just waste your EN away though that will change when I get its true final attack.
- I'm treating Domon like a glass cannnon though that Potential 7 is doing bits for him.
- Already benched Angela; not impressed with her skill sets. Now whether she gets anything better, I don't know.
- Spike is on the edge of whether I should bench him or not since most of the time he gets targeted, the game says "shoot down" with enemies having hit rates of 60% and that's already with Focus up, so I can't even use his Potential unless I spam Persist and that wastes a lot of SP. Final attack costs 25 EN, which is cheap, but also only has a 4800 attack power. Might swap him out with Hikaru honestly.
- Not sure how I feel about the Gespenst honestly. Feels like it could do more but not really.

stage 36 already.. how are the side units.. G Gundam/GGG and gundam side units.. is there any supports you always use?

The only support I've been using so far is Fa (Prospect), and the Trider shuttle team (because 4 spirit commands).

Current top 5 aces after stage 43 (Stay Independent route. There's 3 routes and I chose SI over Char or Haman. Gyunei and Mashmyre are dead in this route or at least shot down according to plot.)

As for supports, I just got Elle's ace bonus so that should help me get more Rouse action so that I don't have to build up morale for it. Currently working on Iino's for cheaper Resupply (if his ace bonus is still the same as the one from V) and Fa so I have more SP to burn.

As for Van's Overflow, as expected, did not increase Van's default morale limit so he cannot utilize his amazing ace bonus in a no upgrade run. Plus he has no way to increase morale on his own in the first place other than either Rouse bot or charging him into the fray, Gun X Sword finale notwithstanding where he gets 300 morale but that's only one stage. Does have Accel, Zeal, and Soul though.

Think I underestimated Guy's ace bonus, "Triggers Spirit Command Soul when Bravery is active." It's like Noriko's ace bonus in Z3 all over again (without Zeal) cause he just attacked twice and dealt really massive amounts of damage. One range finisher isn't helping though, although that may help for others since finishers in this game are 2 range. Same with Gunbuster's 1 range finisher.

Decided to bench Spike. Too easy to get targeted and shoot down and his ace bonus only gives him more funds and funds are useless on NURs. Now you could say Maito and Watta aren't great either but they don't die that easily and can tank at least so they get a pass plus Maito is pretty self-sufficient for the most part. Also benched Shion and Show because they can't dodge tank for crap in this game (seems like the level system is like Z2-2/Z3-2 cause I'm getting skills that I could get in V and X at 41, for Amuro for example, Zeal at that point but I had to learn it here at 57-58).

Also benched Gespenst cause I just don't have anymore room plus Slash Ripper doesn't have Ignore Size modifiers on it.

As for Supporters, still using Dingo-Frontier Setter (Hit, Skill, and Evasion +20 for rest of the stage) on Amuro mainly (unless Chirico's activated Superhuman Abilities, then I'll give it to him since Amuro has a high skill level that he could easily double pretty much anything in the game though the extra 20 is a bonus) though Tadashi (Arcadia) improved his support (from Charge to Bravery for 30 SP). I guess the Dingo/Front makes up for how overshadowed EfP is with the rest of the roster.

Finally found a way to utilize Van's ace bonus without any upgrades; the Shuffle Union Soul (+5 morale per turn; +20 maximum morale).
