If anyone ever wants to run this on Windows 7, here's how to do it. 1. Copy all the data files from Disc 1 onto a new folder on your desktop. 2. Right-click the Setup.exe and change the Compatibility Mode to Windows 2000 (though XP might work as well. I picked 2000 and it worked.) 3. Disable certain anti-virus while doing this. AVG Free detected a particular file from the disc itself and said it was a virus which is impossible. If using AVG, right click the icon on the bottom-right corner of your screen and select Temporarily disable. 4. It should install like normal and run just fine. However, the 3D models will be all glitched up. All you have to do now is disable the 3D Acceleration in the video settings. That's it! Happy gaming! |
Oh! If you want a short-cut, go to your install directory and make a copy of TimeQuake.exe |
