This is something everyone here probably already know but I don't see players online do it but if you get knocked down or thrown down you can do a quick recovery by pressing the jump button right at the moment you touch the ground and you'll see your character's body flash.

Yup they kept the throw recovery in and some soft knockdown moves from enemies you can quick recover from which is cool I'm still learning which of these moves from enemies allow it.

I'm not a fan of the input lag but there's no timing or associated penalty pushing it early. So you can just spam the A / Jump button if you get thrown. The funny thing is that some of the enemies are also able to do a recovery move from your throws making them useless.

I don't think you have to spam it either. Pretty sure you can just hold the button.

Probably common knowledge too, but you can cancel into certain moves. For instance, as Axel you can do a 3 bit combo into F,F, X then immediately into his rage move.

Haven't tried the other characters yet, so I can't comment.

I believe you can even cancel into his Blitz after the fourth hit as well, but that isn't what this thread is talking about. He's talking about the quick recovery you can do when you get knocked down by holding jump.

Good information for new players, but this isn't the right thread for that kind of info.

You can hold it. I think as long as you start holding the button after the apex then you're fine.
