Cmon bro it’s DMC, Dante got a new transformation by friggin stabbing himself

Of course he should have figured it would be possible for such a thing to occur no matter how dumb the writing is (v being removed from dying vergil makes him stronger, then rejoining him when both are about to die somehow heals him and makes him even stronger???” Lmfao terrible πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Vergil was healed because of the blood apple Urizen ate earlier.

That blood apple didn’t seem to help Urizen who was basically on his death bed, as was V who was shedding skin profusely.

Right, because it's not like a descendant of Sparda has ever survived being impaled on a giant sword or anything.

Urizen was not dying, just badly damaged after getting his ass handed to him by Dante, who was about to finish him off when V intervened. I believe, cliche as it is, that the reason Urizen lost to Dante is that even with the power boost he got from the apple he was still 'incomplete' without V.

Despite the loss, the apple was just powerful enough to restore Vergil to full health once he was re-merged.
The internet has made it too easy for people to be openly disrespectful without getting punched in the face for it.

But.. What if Dante would have beaten Urizen on his first go without him eating the apple… Then V would reunite and come back as weak Vergil… lol... If your theory is true then why didn't V wait with contacting Dante until Urizen ate the fruit already.

Good point, really goes to show how badly the story falls apart due to them forcing Vergil into it for fan service

V is dying, his very body falling apart. He doesn't have time to wait around for Urizen to complete his plan and get the apple.

I'd say "putting the broken halves together" explains this well enough. V has Vergil's original body but lack demonic power to power it (plus humanity, which is a huge power booster in this series), Urizen has a ton of demonic power but his body is broken by Dante. Put the two together and you get something greater than the sum of its parts.
If you're a success odds are darned good you got help, support and/or a few second chances along the way, so think long and hard before denying them to others.
