Nero only could work if they wanted to experiment and go open world on some demon gate on an island.
People are afraid of what they don't understand.

They’re moving on now that Nero is fully capable of standing on his own two feet

So does Kratos. But that didnt stop him from getting a boi, whooped 8 valkyrie asses and killed Valk Queen's boi.

Dante only looks old because of that scruffy beard. Mod that away, he's at the same as Vergil's age.

I mean, possibly? The series definitely can’t survive without Dante’s multiple weapons/style switching, it’s been proven to be the fan favorite character to play long term.

The series doesn’t necessarily need Dante as a character in it, but if you’re going to just give his combat style to another character...why not just take the time to find a way to write him back into the game....

It really doesn’t make sense to just give his combat style to someone else because they don’t want to have a story about him anymore, and a DMC without Dante levels of combat and depth are not going to be received very well

Exactly what I was thinking.

Pretty much. Even if Capcom is taking Devil May Cry in a cool, new direction, they aren't gonna do it without Dante. And only like a 25% chance they could without Vergil.

yes they are but they are sayins so they age slower. I know dante is a demon but it was never stated if he ages slower or what.
