As for legendary lieutenants you should usually check Ptolemarchs or Mercenaries - they have the highest chance of being legendary.

Pick up all bounties on all boards you encounter - everything. You don't have to bother chasing after them as most of them will complete on their own providing you with "free" additional resources and experience.

Whenever you are running around try to avoid the main road. Just go through the wilds and pick up all resources on your way. Don't try to tunnel vision and go only for the resources but if you only need to veer off a little to pick up some wood - do it. It may not seem like much - 6-9 wood per pick up but it adds up quick.

To maximize your assasination potential pick up Critical Assassination and Hero Strike. Even on Spear Level less than 5 you can deal 280% of your Assassination damage by using critical assassination and quickly following it up with Hero Strike. It does require 2 segments of adrenaline but is perfect if you need to kill a mercenary/ptolemarch/leader.
You can also use an arrow (preferably Predator) from a crouching position in the bushes to land damage and still remain undetected (they will go to the location where the arrow came from but you can simply change your position and do it again).
Combining all of this effectively will allow you to assassinate even high level targets on higher difficulties.
If you have an additional 3 segments of adrenaline you can follow up yoru Hero Strike with Overpower Attack - prefferably sword (or dagger) as it seems to deal the most damage on single target. Spear has unreliable hitbox, heavy blunt is best for 3 or 2 targets (since you can jump between them) et cetera. If you do it fast enough it should be quiet enough not to alert anyone to your fight (so long as they are not too close of course).

Cleaving a ship in naval combat gives you more resources (a mercenary around level 30 is worth around 150-200 pieces of wood for example) and restores your ship's health. First disable the ship by depleting it's health bar and then when it's not moving just ram into the middle of it.

Wood is easily gained in large sums by looting war supplies before burning and destroying enemy ships.

dodge rolling (by holding the dodge) will get lynxes off your back and put out fire.
You can combo light (r1) attack and heavy (r2) attacks together, there's even a skill that causes the combo finisher to do more damage when you do this.
DON'T BUTTON MASH when fighting, you can easily shift into a parry or dodge by just pressing the buttons which makes you much more reactive in combat and takes the enemies down alot easier even when fighting multiples.
Also if dealing with multiple enemies and you've just successfully parried go after a different enemy then the one that you actually parried, as they will be stunned longer then the others.

I know it probably seems like common knowledge but you'd be amazed at how many people don't know that.

Be careful when using bows that change the arrows to fire or poison, you won't be able to recover any arrows after the fight, And with the increased crafting cost of arrows they can become a serious drain on your materials.

- Two fingers on the Touch Pad can be used to quickly zoom in/out the map
- Conquests Battles happen on their own. It's possible to lower the Region's fortification and have the Battle finish automatically if you ignore it for too long
- If you want to recruit an enemy as a Warrior, dealing the final blow with your fists is better than using Spartan Kick. Spartan Kick could easily kill the enemy. Your fists trigger a knock out animation, even when using a Charged Heavy Attack
- Leaders and Mercenaries can be recruited
- Defeat Mercenaries above you in the Tiers to move up and gain bonuses
- Daily/Weekly Quests can be found on the Adrestia's Message Board. (I found the Weekly there after it disappeared the other day)
- Obtaining Helix Store items from the Oiskos of the Olympians marks them as owned in the Helix Store
- Owned Helix Store items are removed from the Olympian Gifts loot pool
- There are Manual Save slots, 5 Auto Save Slots, and 5 Quick Save Slots

-Poisoned enemy takes more- and deals less damage
-Hold square to roll - puts out fire faster
-Easy cuts XP in half - Hard/NM increase by 25% each
-Press and hold pad, to quickly switch between day/night
-Enemy mercenaries can help fight legendary animals
-Step briefly outside 'red zone' to quick save at any time

I don't have any tips to share yet because i just started 3 hours ago but i didn't want to make a new thread for 1 question and this seems like a good thread to ask.

Is there a button on the ps4 that serves as a shorticut to the map?
Pressing the options button and then cycling all the way to "map" with l1 every single time seems like a waste of time.
