Gen 5 and 7 are two of my favorites. I think gen 3 is by far the worst

There were soo many good 'mons.

There's like 2 passable mons in the entire generation, lol. 4 if you count the 'actually-gen-1' Munna line. But even those are only barely okay. It might be fun on a competitive level, but the actual Pokemon are just bad.

Excadrill, Whimsicott, Zoroark, Ferrothorn, Haxorus, Chandelure, Mandibuzz, Volcarona, Terrakion to name a few? Not to mention even PvE-wise there was a lot to choose from

Wait, people hated gen 5??? There were soo many good 'mons. And I loved the story. Maybe I'm so fond of it though because it's where I first got into competitive Pokemon battling.

Get V has more great Mons than 6 and 7 combined. Haters will hate.

Yeah 3 really is the only gen devoid of any offensively bad designs

Some forgettable ones sure but nothing stupid or ugly or both

and their Typing relation with the Starter Types: you have to face a Gym Leader that's strong against you, but, if you're smart enough to look around, you get a monkey that's strong Vs that Leader who'd be at an advantage.

But why couldn't they just give you one of the same mons three forms?

Like if someone in sinnoh were to give you Burmy leaf/sand/trash cloak based on your starter

and if you meant to make them the same mon, but with 3 different forms with 3 different Typings.. Why? That's far worse padding than what this would be if it actually was padding.

3 different forms keeps the dex number from being raised. Every slot is valuable before we reach the big 1k and gamefreak declares they will genocide several species every gen to keep casuals from being scared off by too many pokemon

A magnet.
Three magnets stuck together.

And i guess greninja is just a tongue then.
Its 2019 and people still make this idiotic statement.

An upside down pokeball.

They are mimics, copying an item ball.

Purple sludge.
Bigger purple sludge.
Pink slime.
A boulder with arms.
Mr Mime.

I fail to see what the problem with these is.

if u wanna call out a design as lazy, point at Krabby, Seel and Dodrio lol.
