I teach most of them espoir but I guess it's kind of pointless if you have fairy dust. Same with heal. If you have enough strong healing items then it's pointless to teach them heal but I still usually do it

I teach pretty much everybody ever Braveheart

other than "because you can" no. It's all based on how you play the game. if you feel like you need heal on your main character, then teach him heal

I don't bother levelling any of the main characters because they reset once you beat the game.

Instead I just teach each class magic so long as they got 80% int.

Galaxy Skull>Majin
Galaxy mage>Angel
Angel>Ninja
Prism Skull>Knight
Prism mage>F cleric
Stars>two warriors (strangely they got 80%)
F cleric>Prinny (making big sis prinny)
Knight>Scout

Having characters with a literal book of spells is hilarious. They're so versatile.

All levels, stats and equipment they had carry over to next cycles. This is true for EVERY Disgaea.

heal spell (normally just a good one and or highest level)
and status cure spell

why early off passing a heal tech helps a ton if your not leveling everyone evenly which is tricky in original
trolling
apparently unpopular opinion if reported as trolling is trolling on gamefaqs

Yep Omega Heal + Espoir on your main character is enough :-)

I'm so glad healers eventually gain experience by healing in the later games. But it sure makes grinding healers in the first one difficult since they don't gain experience for it

That's why you're not-so-subtly nudged into sticking bows on them.
Or, just make an underling and mooch an attack spell off of it.
