In the Japanese trailer, after Byleth goes back to Sothis after getting his ass beat, she says to him something along the lines of "What? There's already plenty of swordsmen so you don't need to be there? You come here crying about that and you call yourself a man?" Female Byleth replaces him. "Oh yeah. That's also an option." Then she goes on to give her the relics. In the English trailer she doesn't say this line, and the joke just kinda... goes missing. The English trailer makes it seem like they were talking about the relic weapons the whole time, but they actually weren't. Female Byleth also just shows up here unexplained. |
Kinda reminds me of Smash 4's "Big brother is now big sister!" SSBU Mains: Inkling, Mario Headcanon: The blue and orange Inklings are best friends, and Mario is a mentor to them. |
