I’m still deciding on whether I should get a physical or digital copy of Smash Ultimate...

With Physical:
+ Requires less storage
+ You get box art...
- Cartridge is can be easily lost
- Can’t play it anywhere if you don’t have the cartridge

With Digital:
+ You never lose it
+ Can play it anytime
+ Can (partly) game share
- Requires more storage
- No cool box art

As you can see, I’m more of a digital guy, but what about you? Maybe you can convince me that Physical is better or maybe you’re a digital person, too.

I don't like buying Digital games unless it's an indie game or a game on sale 🤷‍♂

I’m a digital person

I don’t really care about boxart, and I have a lot of storage, so none of the cons are negatives for me ^_^
Call me Peripuff, I use it everywhere but I can't change it here. Thanks ^_^

Unless it's some eshop only indie game I don't buy Digital anything when it comes to games.
Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember her, you are not alone.

I am definitely going to go with digital so I can play it anytime... otherwise I would never put another cartridge in my switch...

Physical for midnight release. Digital if they do preloading and you wanna do that.

Also physical if you can get the game early.

Basically it's all about how quickly you can get the game.

A) Chances are the SD card would still be functional
B) If the SD card isn’t functional, you could redownload on your next Switch so long as you link your Nintendo account. Switch online service even has cloud save backup

Also because I’m never reselling this game.
