Just completed DKC:TF on Switch 200% on Orignal Mode a few minute ago.

Nothing new ever since the Wii U version (which I also 200%), but still one of the greatest 2D platformer ever, and a joy to play in handheld mode.

Anyway, sign here once you get your 200% in Original Mode.

100% everything in the main game (all stages completed, all puzzles pieces found).

Then beat every stages on Hard for an extra 100%. This will give you 200% on your save file.

Blue Kong Letters (those found in hard mode) is not necessary for 200%.

200%'d and got all of the puzzle pieces, figurines, and blue KONG letters 3 days ago. I since started the time trials and am now at world 4 with all golds and 2 or 3 shiny golds.

The game isn't nearly as hard as everyone on this board would have one believe. gamefaqs is mostly filled with casuals and s***ters, imo. If you ignore the KONG letters, 3/4's of the levels become a breeze. Also, I thought that the final boss was fairly underwhelming (mainly because I beat him on my first attempt.)

Overall, I like the game, but I wouldn't say that it's a masterpiece. I liked how they improved a lot over Returns by cutting filler levels, removing motion controls, removing blowing, and adding Rayman Legends/Origins -like controlling underwater levels. But, the game still inherited a bunch of Return's problems like bad, (mostly) poorly hidden, mindless (on 2 variants you can win by mashing B) bonus levels, the reward for finding the collectables (puzzle pieces) being not really worth it, bland enemies, and focusing too much on cinematics which often puts large gaps into the gameplay.

Diddy's Kong Quest is still king.

What are the blue KONG letters for? And what does completing time trials in gold do?

Yep, did this a few days ago. I jumped into Funky Mode afterwards as sort of a victory lap for myself and have been having a great time with that, too.
Winkles acknowledge you.

I've been alternating between regular and Funky mode plus mixing in some time trials. I plan to eventually get 200% but I'm really taking my time and enjoying it. I loved it on the WiiU and am glad it got ported.

Some new 200% posts :) Great! Keep it up people!

I admit, I've skipped all the Time Trials this time around. I'm not a speed-runner, like at all. But I did try a few on Wii U. I quickly realized though how perfect you needed to be to have that Shiny Gold medals, so it turned me off quite quickly. Even more since it doesnt give you anything.

I did got my Blue KONG letters and all figurines too.
