Since when has Daniel Craig's James Bond been woke?

Have you read a Bond book?

Why? It would still be "woke" so instead of the Ian Flemming Bond you're all expecting it's going to be Austin Powers but not funny
I don't think anyone would be expecting that from a Bond movie set in the 60s. Just a slightly more realistic Bond movie like now, just... set in the 60s. Which would be interesting.

There already is a bond movie set in the 60s. Its X-Men First Class.

I don't know if a '60s set Bond would be all that interesting. Not to be pedantic, but maybe a '50s Bond (there is a difference), the decade the character originated in, could be interesting as there's been less spy-media set in that era.

Even so, I don't know if there's a lot of mileage you could get from that. I wouldn't mind a hyper-stylized Bond film, though.

Setting it in the 60s would make Bond being a woman of color a much more interesting plot element.
