For one reason.....

Because just about every James Bond movie since GoldenEye dealt with the trope of "Are spies outdated in the modern day?" It's tired and it's been done to death.

Besides, being a spy was way more fun in the 60s!

They did have fun in the 60s. I also miss the fun Bond movies like Moonraker and Diamonds Are Forever

Why? It would still be "woke" so instead of the Ian Flemming Bond you're all expecting it's going to be Austin Powers but not funny

Woke is a nebulous concept that can mean anything.
Occam's razor: The simplest solution (answer) is most likely the right one
